How does askdavidson work?

The idea behind this site is that sometimes you just want to ask somebody for guidance on a topic. This might be so that you are better equipped to approach an IFA, or to get a second opinion on advice you are currently receiving. Whatever your situation, simplicity is the key. That is why we have kept this site as simple to use as possible.

First, you type in your question in the free text box provided. This is free text, so please feel free to write as much as you like. Tell us what is on your mind and what you need help with. The more information, the better.

Then, click "next". This will take you to the registration page. We have asked for some basic information. This is not so we can send you junk mail or sell this information to a third party! It is simply so we can identify you when we are replying to your question. Some fields are compulsory - but not your email address. We understand that you may not want to divulge this - although if you do then we can send you an email when we have responded.

Next, click "Create Account".

We will then start working on your question and get a response to you within 24 working hours. Sometimes we may need further information, so please bear with us if this is the case.

To retrieve your answer, log in on the home page by typing your first name and password. You will then see your original question and our answer.

And that's it! You can print out your question and our answer if you wish, or ask a follow-up question.
